Product Review

Panasonic HMC40 is a camera fit for professionals. It is reasonably priced and has many features. The camera form factor is good as it very compact and packs the punch. Its tapeless recording technology is also cool and convenient. However, the camcorder does not perform well in the low light,

Product Review

This camcorder is high end and is best suited for the professional use. However, it is lightweight and may be used for day to day purpose as it has several modes which make it possible to be used without much manipulation. The video quality is good even at auto level. Although it is expensive

There's a tradeoff when using the Canon XL H1.  What's nice is that the quality without a doubt is incredible.  However, you're not going to be able to travel comfortably with this over your shoulders.  It's bulky and heavy.  This camcorder is great for special occasions

Product Review

We had purchased the Sony HVR-HD1000U after our ability to keep up with increasing webcast demands was beginning to faulter having only a single camera, the Panasonic AG-HVX200. The Panasonic was a great camera, but this time we really wanted to factor in what we absolutely needed in a camera

This is a HD camcorder, for a fraction of the price of ones that movie-makers use, but has everything. It is a little heavy, but that much is obvious just from looking at it. Stunning HD makes any movie shot from this beautiful, and very clear. For under 14 hundred, this is a steal!

wow sony Camcorder is great the High Definition sound and picture of the video are so clear i love making home movies now

Product Review

The highly anticipated competition to JVC's HD camcorders, the 1st generation Sony HDR-FX1 attempts to set the standard in a new frontier, the HD market. While there is a small HD camera market due to its still high prices, the Sony HDR-FX1 sets a milestone in its affordability delivering HD.

Only had this camera for 2 weeks, but so far it has performed flawlessly. I have been taping for 10 years with a VX1000 which still records great video, but the FX7 is definitely a superior camcorder. HD is as close to being there as is possible. Great detail, superb color and so far it is pretty.

The LCD screen is a bit cookie at first, but users of pro-cameras will find it similar to a conventional EVF.
The shot transition buttons are amazing, the duration of the transition can be varied as can every image facet (gain, iris, W.B, even focal length).
